Estimator – Builders Works
A specialist builders’ work contractor operating across high-end commercial, workplace, and refurbishment projects in London is seeking an experienced Builders Works Estimator to join its pre-construction team. The business is well established within the fit-out and interiors sector, working closely with Tier 1 main contractors and premium clients on complex projects.
This role offers an opportunity to take ownership of tendering activities within a technically strong and commercially driven environment.
Builders’ work packages typically include blockwork and brickwork, screeding, formwork and holorib slab reinstatement, concrete works, structural steelwork, and below-ground drainage installations, delivered as part of high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
The Builders Works Estimator’s Role
The successful Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for builders’ work packages across a range of live tenders.
Projects typically include CAT A / CAT B fit-out, refurbishments, and structural alterations, often within live or constrained environments.
The Builders Works Estimator
* Proven experience as an Estimator within builders’ works
* Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies
* Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
* Confident communicator, comfortable working with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Able to manage multiple tenders concurrently
* Experience working with London-based projects preferred

* Salary: up to £90,000 (dependent on experience)
