QA/QC Inspector – Solar Farm (Outside IR35)
Exeter, Devon | £400–£500/day (circa) | 12 Months | Early June Start

Ceto Talent are working with a leading global consultancy supporting a renewable energy project in the UK, seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to join a 50MW solar farm project near Exeter.

This is a site-based, full project lifecycle role, offering long-term contract stability on a major solar development.

Location: Near Exeter, Devon (site-based)
Start Date: 1st June
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 40 per week
Day Rate: £400–£500 (negotiable)
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Role Overview

Responsible for QA/QC inspection and assurance across all phases of the project, ensuring works are delivered in line with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out QA/QC inspections across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes

* Review and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

* Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards

* Monitor contractor quality performance on site

* Support documentation, reporting, and handover processes

Requirements

* Proven QA/QC experience on solar farm projects

* Experience across full project lifecycle (civils, mechanical, electrical)

* Strong understanding of ITPs and quality documentation

* Background working with EPC contractors on renewable projects

* Ability to work full-time on site

* Right to work in the UK
