Rate: £18-20 p/h CIS
Hours: 9.5 hours paid, Mon to Fri & Time & a half Saturdays
Contract: Full time
Duration: Ongoing
Romans Recruitment Group is looking for multiple Slinger/Signallers for a £50m RC Frame project in the heart of Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering long-term, secure work, for the right Slinger / Signaller.
We are looking for reliable individua who have a proven work history within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities as a Slinger / Signaller
• Safely attach and secure loads to cranes and lifting equipment using appropriate lifting accessories
• Direct and guide crane operators using approved hand signals and radio communication
• Ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures and health & safety regulations
• Check lifting gear and accessories before use to ensure they are suitable, certified, and in good condition
• Maintain clear communication with crane operators, lift supervisors, and site teams during lifting operations
• Assist with the safe movement and placement of materials across the construction site
Requirements:
• Valid Blue CPCS Card
•Fit to work
Medical Certificate
• Minimum 3 years relevant work history with references
• Ability to work back shift and weekends when required
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
