GVR Solutions are working alongside a specialist restoration contractor with a strong client base, they undertake work on Grade I and II listed buildings and those which hold both architectural and historical significance.

They are seeking a highly motivated Site Manager who can demonstrate energy and enthusiasm and who will contribute towards the continued expansion of their successful restoration business. This position offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

* Carry out such duties as instructed by your line manager

* Coordination of direct and sub-contractor labour

* Ensuring overall quality control on site(s)

* Ensure projects meet programme requirements

* Undertake administration and scheduling duties required

* All other duties which may be required for the smooth running of project(s) under your supervision

* Use your skills and knowledge to perform your duties to the best of your ability

* Health & Safety

* Conduct Site Inductions and Toolbox Talks and maintain records

* Updating Construction Phase Plan after initial issue to surveyor

* Maintain Health & Safety file and ensure all necessary measures are in place

The Site Manager must have/be:

* At least 5 years relevant work experience

* Highly organised

* Contractual awareness

* Knowledge on construction including restoration, refurbishment, and finishing

* Experience in managing contracts and sites

* High motivation

* A proven track record

* Excellent interpersonal communication skills

* Excellent leadership qualities

* Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
