Our portfolio includes warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing facilities, and mixed-use commercial developments. In addition, we deliver projects across the education and healthcare sectors, working with both public and private clients.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Bid Writer to support our continued growth by producing compelling, high-quality tender submissions. You will play a key role in securing new business by clearly articulating our strengths, technical expertise, and value proposition.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, write, and edit persuasive bid and tender submissions (PQQs, ITTs, frameworks, etc.)

Interpret client requirements and develop clear, tailored responses

Collaborate with internal teams including estimating, design, and project delivery

Gather technical information and translate it into engaging, client-focused content

Ensure submissions are compliant, professionally presented, and submitted on time

Maintain and develop a library of high-quality bid content

Identify opportunities to improve bid quality and win rates

About You

Proven experience as a Bid Writer within the construction sector

Strong knowledge of industrial and commercial building projects (essential)

Experience in education and/or healthcare sector bids (desirable)

Excellent written English with strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Strong organisational and communication skills

Familiarity with public sector procurement processes
