Salary: £32-36,000

A well-established, design-focused architectural practice in Cambridge is seeking a talented Architectural Technician to join its friendly and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of medium to large-scale projects across the residential, commercial, retail, leisure and heritage sectors throughout the South and East of England. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting projects from early design through to on-site delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce accurate technical drawings, specifications and comprehensive construction packages
Assist with planning applications and technical submissions
Develop and coordinate drawing packages across multiple RIBA work stages
Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project coordination
Support project delivery while maintaining compliance with current UK Building Regulations and standards
Attend site visits and project meetings when requiredRequirements:

Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice
Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction techniques
Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical drawings across various project stages
Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach
