Project Quantity Surveyor

An ambitious and well-regarded independent construction consultancy is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Cambridge team. The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will support senior commercial staff across the full project lifecycle, gaining exposure to both pre- and post-contract duties. The Role
* Assisting with cost planning, budgeting and feasibility studies
* Supporting procurement processes, tender preparation and analysis
* Assisting in the administration of contracts (primarily JCT)
* Monitoring project costs, variations and change control
* Supporting valuations, interim payments and final accounts
* Preparing cost reports and financial updates
* Working closely with project teams and stakeholders to support successful delivery

The Project Quantity Surveyor?
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Previous experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor or similar
* Good understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Confident communication and organisational ability
* Ambition to progress towards chartership (RICS or similar)
