Senior Architectural Technologist
SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST
Freelance Contract (Minimum 6 Months)
Manchester City Centre | Hybrid Working Available
We are looking for 2 experienced Architectural Technologist with good REVIT skills to work with one of Manchester's most respected Architectural & Interior Design studios. The roles are to support a number of large and complex retail / hospitality fit-out schemes on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months in duration (strong likelihood that this will extend).
You will be working alongside other experienced Senior Technologists, Architects and Interior Designers, taking ownership of technical delivery and coordination of these projects. This role is particularly focused on the later RIBA stages (4-6), so strong technical detailing and construction-stage knowledge are essential.
Typical responsibilities will include:
Leading and contributing to technical delivery across RIBA Stages 4-6
Coordinating design information across consultants and subcontractors
Preparing high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and schedules
Ensuring compliance with UK Planning, Building Regulations, and CDM Regulations
Identifying technical challenges and developing clear, buildable solutions
Suitable candidates should be able to diisplay:
Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK architectural practice or multidisciplinary consultancy
Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (3D)
Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D)
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage deadlines across multiple live projects
Collaborative approach with the confidence to contribute ideas
