The Role
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. You will play a key role in managing costs across a variety of projects, from fit-out works to reactive and planned maintenance contracts.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from inception through to final account
Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
Negotiating contracts and managing subcontractor procurement
Monitoring project costs, valuations, and variations
Producing accurate financial reports and forecasts
Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to commercial targets
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Supporting the wider team in driving profitability and efficiencyThe Ideal Candidate
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor will have:
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction, fit-out, or facilities management
Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with subcontractors and negotiating contracts
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive and hands-on approach
Relevant qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar preferred)What's on Offer
