Relevant Social Housing refurbishment knowledge – Retrofit, Refurbishment, Decarbonisation at an Operations Manager level
Have worked on high-rise, mid-rise, high-risk projects, ideally in a refurbishment, main contracting setting.
Experience managing large-scale contracts valuing upwards of £20m+
Leadership expertise is essential for this role
NVQ Level 6 – Construction
UK driving licence

What's the role?

You'll be the primary contact for a key client in Bristol prioritising high-rise/ high risk contracts across the Southeast at pre-construction/construction stages whilst leading direct employees and subcontractors. Managing expectations and standards across all sites whilst ensuring all health & safety measures are met to client requirements.

There will be some sites requiring further travel or stay overs which will be expensed as you manage your own diary to get to and from site in working hours.

For this role, you'll be expected to bring strong leadership skills when it comes to direct employees and subcontractors to ensure they work as a unified team to continue to deliver excellent results.
Liaise with the commercial team to provide any data they need to keep projects flowing.
Have dealings with the recruitment team to keep growing the Southern region.
Working on all Capitol and Retrofit works such as re-cladding, roofing, EWI and more across Bristol.

Key aspects of the role:

Managing a team of Site Managers, Tenant Liaison Officers and subcontractors to ensure the works run smoothly.
Working on refurbishment schemes with local authorities/housing associations within high-rise/high risk settings.
