The Role

As Project Director, you will take overall responsibility for strategic project delivery, leading teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading large-scale, complex construction projects and programmes

* Managing and mentoring project teams, including Project Managers and site teams

* Driving programme strategy, sequencing, and delivery performance

* Overseeing commercial performance, budgets, and cost/value reporting

* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, quality, and company procedures

* Managing key stakeholder relationships including clients, consultants, and supply chain

About You

You will be a highly experienced construction leader with a proven track record delivering major projects in complex environments.

Key requirements:

* Proven experience operating at Project Director / Senior Project Manager level

* Strong background in design & build construction projects

* Experience within data centres, defence, energy, or similar high-spec sectors

* In-depth knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts

* Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience

* Ability to manage multiple workstreams in high-pressure environments

* Strong understanding of risk, programme, and compliance

Qualifications & Certifications

* Degree (or equivalent) in Construction / Engineering or related discipline

* SMSTS (essential)

* CSCS Card (Gold or Black preferred)

* First Aid at Work

* Professional membership (e.g. CIOB, RICS) – desirable

* APM / PMP – advantageous
