About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading construction and development business to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong MEP / M&E experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive organisation delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK.

You will take ownership of the commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages, ensuring cost control, value engineering, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the commercial management of MEP / M&E packages from pre-construction through to final account

* Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts specific to building services works

* Procure and manage M&E subcontractors

* Assess and value variations, claims, and interim applications

* Provide accurate and timely commercial reporting

* Identify and mitigate commercial risks within MEP packages

* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and design teams

* Support and mentor junior commercial staff where required

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong focus on MEP / M&E works

* Background in construction, building services, or engineering projects

* Strong knowledge of contract forms such as JCT and NEC

* Experience managing subcontractor packages and complex services installations

* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

* Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
