Site Manager – 4 Days a Week (Fri-Mon) – min. £1400 per week – Canary Wharf, London

We're currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to work a commercial project based in Canary Wharf. This is an opportunity to work with a well-established turnkey contractor on a live-site environment, overseeing a range of trades and disciplines.

The role is initially 4 days per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday), making it ideal for someone looking for a structured but slightly more flexible working pattern. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and a genuine focus on internal progression, this is a great opportunity to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking team.

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the day today running of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing daily site activities across a live commercial environment
Coordinating and supervising multiple trades including MEP, installation, insulation, and fire stopping
Driving subcontractors and site teams to maintain productivity and meet programme deadlines
Ensuring sequencing of works is followed correctly
Upholding and enforcing Health & Safety standards on site
Carrying out quality checks and assisting with scheduling of testing
Reporting on progress, including photographic updates
Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and client representativesAbout You:

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Site Manager
Background in commercial projects such as offices, banks, or data centres
Strong understanding of MEP and technical site operations
Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively
Good working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified
DBS check (can be arranged if not already in place)Job Details:

Working Pattern: Friday to Monday (4 days per week)
Typical hours: Mon & Fri – 7am-4pm and Sat & Sun – 7am-5pm
Rate: £300 p/d (Time and a half on weekends), minimum £1400 a week
