About the Role
They are looking for a Project Manager who understands the nuances of working within the education sector. Educational projects require meticulous planning around term times, enhanced safeguarding (DBS), and a deep commitment to durability and acoustic performance. You will be responsible for leading these specialized projects from initial site setup through to successful handover.
Key roles and responsibilities include:

Specialized Project Delivery: Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of educational fit-outs, ensuring projects are delivered safely and on time—often within the critical "summer holiday" window.

Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensuring all site staff and subcontractors adhere to strict school site protocols, including enhanced health and safety measures and safeguarding requirements.

Contract Management: Overseeing contracts with educational trusts and private institutions, ensuring clear communication regarding project milestones and budget adherence.

Quality & Technical Oversight: Monitoring the installation of specialized educational furniture, lab equipment, and high-traffic finishes to ensure they meet the rigorous demands of a school environment.

Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as the primary liaison between School Governors, Bursars, and the internal design team to ensure the finished space meets the specific vision of the institution.
