Quantity Surveyor

I’m currently working with a leading social and private residential developer who is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor on an initial 6-month contract.

This role sits directly on the client’s books, offering the opportunity to work within a well-established and highly regarded development business. There is also the potential for the role to be extended or become permanent longer term.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for supporting the commercial delivery of a range of residential developments across Glasgow and the wider Central Belt, working closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Details

* Initial 6-month contract (with potential to extend or go permanent)

* Client-side position with a leading developer

* Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 from home

* Salary up to £65,000 + car allowance and package

* Projects across both social and private housing

What They’re Looking For

* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within housebuilding or main contracting

* Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience

* Ability to manage subcontractor relationships and project budgets

* Experience working on residential developments (social or private preferred)

* A proactive and collaborative approach
