The Role
We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to take full ownership of health, safety, environmental and quality performance across our client’s civil engineering and infrastructure projects
This is a hands-on, operational leadership role. You will have the autonomy to shape how HSEQ is applied on the ground, adapting systems and controls to suit varied works while maintaining robust standards. Key Responsibilities
* Owning and leading the integrated HSEQ Management System, ensuring compliance with current regulations and industry standards
* Providing clear, practical HSEQ leadership across multiple live civils and infrastructure projects, supporting teams to apply controls proportionately and effectively
* Building and sustaining a positive safety culture through regular site engagement, coaching and consistent standards
* Managing risk processes including RAMS, inspections, audits and incident investigations, ensuring learning is embedded and shared
* Driving environmental and quality performance, including sustainability initiatives, compliance monitoring and ownership of key registers and KPIs
Who you are
* You are an experienced HSEQ leader who is comfortable taking accountability for outcomes in complex, multi-site operations.
* You prefer working close to delivery teams, providing guidance that reflects real site conditions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
* You are organised, pragmatic and confident in prioritising your time across competing demands.
* You take pride in your strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence behaviours positively
* You will have experience investigating incidents, analysing trends and translating insight into improvement actions
