The Opportunity

We're working with a forward-thinking consultancy seeking a Sustainability Consultant & BREEAM Assessor to join their growing Energy & Sustainability team in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with MEP Engineers and Building Physics specialists, contributing to a wide variety of impactful, sustainability-led projects across multiple sectors.

What You'll Be Doing
Delivering environmental assessments and sustainability certifications (including BREEAM and HQM)
Developing energy strategies, sustainability reports, and resource efficiency studies
Working with clients and design teams to embed sustainability across project stages
Managing project delivery, including tracking progress, budgets, and programme timelines
Supporting wider sustainability services such as planning submissions, energy and water assessments
Staying up to date with industry standards, regulations, and emerging best practice
Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
Contributing to whole life carbon and embodied carbon assessments when needed
What We're Looking For
Proven experience delivering BREEAM or similar sustainability certifications
Qualified BREEAM Assessor (essential) – AP status advantageous
Understanding of frameworks such as HQM, WELL, SKA, Fitwel, CEEQUAL, DREAM, etc.
Strong awareness of net zero principles, LETI guidance, and UK regulations
Experience across sustainability consultancy or project delivery environments
Exposure to embodied carbon or LCA work (beneficial)
Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
Genuine passion for sustainability and improving building performance
