Senior Design Manager – Bristol
Salary: Up to £75,000 + package

A prominent construction firm is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead the design function on high-value projects across Bristol. This role is ideal for a design-focused construction professional who can bridge the gap between concept and delivery, ensuring innovative, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, manage, and coordinate the design team across multiple projects.

* Ensure all designs meet project requirements, client specifications, and regulatory standards.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to integrate design with construction delivery.

* Manage design programmes, budgets, and reporting to support on-time project completion.

* Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and design quality across all projects.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a senior design or design management role within construction.

* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and design standards.

* Knowledge of NEC, JCT, or other standard contract forms.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

* Degree-qualified in construction, engineering, or related discipline; professional membership (e.g., CIOB, RICS) advantageous.
