Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst – Chelmsford
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent | Full-time

A growing and well-established asbestos consultancy in Chelmsford is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst to support an expanding laboratory workload. Salary & Benefits
£27,000 – £30,000 salary (DOE)

Office-based laboratory role

Fixed working hours (typically 8:00-16:00 or 9:00-17:00)

The Role
Analysing bulk asbestos samples in line with UKAS and HSE guidance

Accurately recording and reporting analytical results

Ensuring all work complies with internal quality procedures

Maintaining laboratory equipment and cleanliness

Supporting wider laboratory operations as required

Working efficiently to meet turnaround times without compromising quality

About You
BOHS P401 (Bulk Analysis) – essential

Previous experience working as a Bulk Asbestos Analyst

Familiar with UKAS-accredited laboratory procedures

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Professional and reliable approach to work
