H&S Assistant
Are you a NEBOSH-qualified individual with knowledge and experience in the construction sector, looking for a move with strong development opportunities? I’ve partnered with a regional construction and civils business, during a burgeoning period of growth, looking for a H&S Assistant to join their ranks.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
• Preparing RAMS
• Supporting site inspections and audits
• Promoting a positive safety culture, and helping ensure compliance with SHEQ and ISO standards.
• Carrying out training and toolbox talks to educate site personnel and ensure they understand the standards expected.
You will be a key operational asset; this role is significant and knowledge of safety, health & environmental legislation and current construction practices is key. Key qualifications and experience include:
• NEBOSH General (Minimum) and NEBOSH Construction (preferable) certified
• You must have a current UK driving licence and use of a personal car for work related usage
• Self-motivated and positive attitude with good communication skills and able to deal with site installation teams, colleagues, senior management, and customers
• Ability and willingness to work flexibly to suit the needs and demands of the role
• A sound appreciation of Health & Safety practices on site (e.g., risk assessments, accident investigations, induction, and training etc).
