The Opportunity
An established and growing building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to join their collaborative design team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a range of office fit-out projects, typically valued between £100k and £1m, across both CAT A and CAT B schemes.

You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical designs from concept through to completion, working both independently and alongside senior leadership on more complex projects.

The Role

Lead mechanical design on office fit-out projects from concept to handover
Manage your own portfolio of projects, including client coordination
Support senior design leadership on larger or technically complex schemes
Produce detailed drawings and designs using AutoCAD and Revit
Carry out heat loss and heat gain calculations using TAS and Hevacomp
Attend design and coordination meetings with internal teams, clients, and contractors
Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards
Contribute to value engineering and design optimisation
Provide technical support and guidance to team members
About You

Ideally a minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical building services design
Proven track record delivering office fit-out projects (CAT A & CAT B)
Strong AutoCAD skills
Working knowledge of Revit (desirable)
Experience using TAS and Hevacomp
Able to manage multiple projects independently
Strong communication and coordination skills
