Responsibilities
As a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering state-of-the-art Building Management Systems (BMS) and Control solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Commissioning the installation of BMS and Control systems as outlined by the Project Manager.
* Crafting your own software strategies and graphics engineering to meet project requirements.
* Conducting physical wiring checks and plant start-ups to ensure seamless operation.
* Providing technical support to other trades and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting system defects to maintain optimal performance.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
* Proven experience in commissioning BMS and Control systems, particularly with Siemens PX and Trend IQ4 controls.
* Strong communication and reporting skills to build and maintain excellent relationships with team members and clients.
* A track record of developing your own software strategies and graphics.
* A full UK driving licence, as the role involves frequent travel across Yorkshire.
Day-to-Day
Your day will be dynamic and rewarding, with responsibilities that include:
* Collaborating with project teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of BMS projects.
* Visiting client sites to oversee installations, perform system checks, and troubleshoot issues.
* Developing and implementing innovative software strategies tailored to client needs.
* Providing hands-on support to ensure all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively.
* Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction with our solutions.
