Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £26k – £42k + Training & Benefits
A leading name within the Asbestos industry is recruiting in the Midlands region for experienced Asbestos site staff. They are seeking a professional Asbestos Surveyor to cover commercial and domestic contracts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within the industry and will integrate smoothly into their respected outfit. Due to the nature of the contracts, our client is also able to consider candidates who also hold analytical experience. The successful candidate can expect excellent salaries and benefits packages.
You will be travelling across: Coventry, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leicester, Rugby, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull, Redditch, Birmingham, West Bromwich, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Cannock, Lichfield, Telford, Rugeley, Stafford, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Swadlincote, Leicester, Loughborough.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
* Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent (for analytical duties, you also hold the P403 and P404 or RSPH equivalents)
* Good working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
* Hardworking attitude
* Able to produce detailed survey reports
* Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
* Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
* Conducting re-inspection asbestos surveys
* Working across a variety of commercial, local authority and domestic premises
* Obtaining ACM samples from site
* Delivering samples to the lab for analysis
* Liaising with clients to arrange site access
* Producing comprehensive technical reports
* Creating detailed schematic drawings
* Representing the company in a professional manner
