Senior Quantity Surveyor – Groundworks / Civil Engineering

Truro, Cornwall 

£50 – 70k Dependant on experience 

A well-established and growing civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of multiple groundworks and infrastructure projects.

This is a strong opportunity for a commercially astute QS who is confident operating at senior level and managing key client relationships.

The Role

Commercial management of several live groundworks / civil engineering projects

Full responsibility for valuations, variations, cost reporting, and final accounts

Leading commercial and contractual discussions with senior clients

Supporting project teams with commercial strategy and risk management

Working closely with senior management to drive project profitability

The Candidate

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within groundworks and/or civil engineering

Comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently

Strong commercial awareness and solid contractual knowledge

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred)

Confident communicator with a professional, client-facing approach
