Salary: £40-46,000
An established and respected architectural practice is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist to join its skilled and collaborative team based in Cambridge. Known for delivering innovative, practical, and commercially viable design solutions across residential, commercial, and heritage projects, the company offers a great opportunity to take ownership of technical design and play a key role in project delivery within a supportive setting.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the technical design and execution of projects across all RIBA stages
* Prepare comprehensive drawing packages, specifications, and construction details
* Liaise with consultants, contractors, and other external parties
* Handle planning submissions and building regulations applications
* Monitor project schedules to ensure delivery on time and within budget
* Support and mentor junior members of the team
* Attend site inspections and project meetings when required
* Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and relevant standards

Requirements
* Demonstrated experience working as an Architectural Technologist in the UK
* Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
* Proficient in AutoCAD
* Experience within residential and or commercial sectors
* Able to manage multiple projects independently
* Excellent communication and coordination abilities
* Strong technical accuracy with attention to detail
* Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field
