Asbestos Surveyor – Hertfordshire

Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent | Full-time

A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a growing workload across Hertfordshire and the surrounding Home Counties. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor seeking a stable role with a structured workload and strong long-term prospects.

This position is focused on surveying duties, offering a consistent pipeline of work across domestic, commercial, and public sector properties.

Salary & Benefits

The Role
Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys

Conducting bulk sampling across a range of property types

Producing accurate, compliant survey reports in line with HSG264

Managing workload efficiently across multiple sites

Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSE guidance and company procedures

Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams

About You
BOHS P402 (essential)

Full UK driving licence

Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor

Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and HSG264 guidance

Professional, organised, and reliable

Strong communication skills
