A well‑established regional construction organisation with a strong pipeline of work across the East of England. The business operates within a specialist construction environment and offers long‑term contract opportunities, with a collaborative commercial and operational structure.
Your new role
You will join the commercial team as an Estimator, supporting ongoing and future projects across the region. The role will involve preparing detailed cost estimates, supporting tender submissions and working closely with Quantity Surveyors, site teams and senior stakeholders throughout the pre‑construction phase.This is a long‑term contract position, offering a hybrid working arrangement and the option to transition into a permanent role in the future if desired.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience working as an Estimator within construction, civils or earthworks‑led environments
3+ years' experience working as an Estimator within construction, civils or earthworks‑led environments
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Relevant Qualification
Valid CSCS Card
Strong understanding of estimating processes, cost planning and tendering
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
Confident liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
What you'll get in return
Day rate of £375-£475, with flexibility depending on experience
IR35 status to be determined following assessment
Long‑term contract with a consistent workload
Hybrid working pattern: typically 1-2 days on site, office‑based days and potential for one day working from home
