Freelance Site Manager – Exeter (10‑Week Contract)

Start Date: 18th May End Date: 24th July Project Value: £600K Hours: 7am-5pm (10-hour days)

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a warehouse refurbishment and fit‑out for a new Padel club in Exeter. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role requiring strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record managing similar projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day site operations and ensure smooth project delivery

Coordinate subcontractors and oversee all on‑site activities

Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance

Ensure project milestones are met within programme and budget

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders

Requirements

SMSTS certification

First Aid qualification

Previous experience managing refurbishment/fit‑out projects

Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
