Principal Health & Safety Consultant

Join the Health & Safety team of a global consultancy with work across the North of England. Based out of their Liverpool, Manchester or Leeds office you will lead on CDM/Principal Designer projects across the North West and North of England to deliver Principal Designer services to a range of clients. Sector exposure includes Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Defence, Infrastructure and Environment. We've worked with this business for over a decade and placed numerous professionals with them during that time. They offer a clear route for personal and professional development, alongside a broad range of training opportunities.

This role is suited to someone who has experience delivering the Principal Designer role for clients, as well as the wider advisory elements of the role such as PDA and CDM Client Advisor. The expectation at Principal level is that you have the skillset and ability to be proactive and assured in liaising with Clients, Designers, and Contractors on all areas of safety by design, as well as having the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure project targets are met. IMaPS or CertIOSH are the expectations of this role, however, if you have come from a construction or design background and are MCIOB, MCIAT, MCABE or RIBA then this would also be of great interest to the client. If you have CDM experience, but none of the mentioned memberships, it is still worth applying and speaking with Dominic.
