The role & about the client:
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor with a strong track record in delivering high-quality residential developments. With a focus on traditional build housing schemes, the company is known for its commitment to quality, programme delivery, and strong site leadership.
They are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a Tier 1 residential background to take full responsibility as the number one on site for a 200-unit traditional build development in Farnborough. Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business on a flagship scheme.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing the day-to-day running of the site as the lead Site Manager
Overseeing a 200-unit traditional build residential scheme from construction through to completion
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
Managing and coordinating subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
Maintaining strict health & safety standards across site
Monitoring progress and reporting to the Contracts Manager
Ensuring quality control and adherence to build specifications
Driving programme and resolving any on-site issues efficiently
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential developments
Previous experience working with Tier 1 contractors
Strong background in traditional build housing projects
Experience running sites as the number one Site Manager
Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
A proactive and professional approach to site management
