Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established contractor specialising in commercial modular installation projects across the South of the UK.

This role will involve managing the on-site installation and fit-out of modular units across a range of commercial schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation phase of modular projects on-site, coordinating logistics, crane operations, subcontractors, and ensuring smooth delivery from unit arrival through to completion.

Due to the nature of the projects, flexibility to travel and stay away is essential.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage on-site modular installations from delivery to completion

* Coordinate crane lifts and installation sequencing

* Oversee subcontractors and specialist installation teams

* Ensure all works are carried out in line with Health & Safety regulations

* Monitor programme and drive progress on fast-paced installs

* Liaise with clients, project managers, and logistics teams

* Maintain high standards of quality and site presentation

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction

* Experience delivering modular installation projects (essential)

* Strong understanding of site logistics and installation sequencing

* SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid

* Ability to manage fast-paced, programme-driven projects

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Full UK driving licence
