Site Manager – Restoration
I’m currently working with a well-established specialist contractor with an excellent reputation in the restoration, refurbishment, and conservation sector.
This business is known for delivering high-quality work across Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, as well as projects of significant architectural and historical importance. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they’re now looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee projects across London and the surrounding areas.

The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing projects from site set-up through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
You’ll be managing both direct labour and subcontractors, maintaining site standards, coordinating day-to-day operations, and ensuring all project and health & safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing day-to-day site operations across restoration and refurbishment projects
* Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors
* Ensuring projects are delivered in line with programme requirements
* Maintaining high standards of quality control on site
* Carrying out site administration and scheduling duties
* Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks, maintaining accurate records
* Updating and maintaining Construction Phase Plans
* Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures and site documentation are in place
* Supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of projects under your supervision
What They’re Looking For
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant Site Manager role
* Strong background in construction, restoration, refurbishment, and finishing works
* Experience managing live sites and coordinating trades/subcontractors
* Good understanding of site health & safety and associated documentation
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Contractual awareness
* A proactive and motivated approach
* Proven ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple site demands
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive standards on site
Salary & Package
* £35,000 – £55,000 basic salary (depending on experience and qualifications)
