Role

Support Senior Quantity Surveyors in the effective commercial management of projects
Assist in the preparation of cost plans, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and associated documentation
Carry out on-site measurements and take-offs from drawings where required
Help identify commercial risks and contribute to mitigation strategies
Support ongoing cost analysis across maintenance and project works
Assist with feasibility assessments in line with client requirements
Contribute to the preparation of cost estimates and financial forecasts
Review and analyse subcontractor quotations
Assist in the preparation, negotiation and agreement of variation accounts
Prepare and issue payment certifications to subcontractors
Support the commercial team with documentation and evidence in dispute resolution
Your Attributes

Highly organised with strong commercial awareness and confidence in negotiation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across live construction environments
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
Previous experience working for a main contractor within civil engineering, supporting commercial teams on live projects
