Senior Quantity Surveyor – Surrey

A progressive and highly regarded construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Surrey-based team. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with senior stakeholders, leading projects from early feasibility through to final account. The Role
* Leading cost planning, estimating and feasibility studies as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Managing procurement processes, including tender preparation and contractor negotiation
* Administering contracts (primarily JCT) and ensuring compliance throughout delivery
* Overseeing project costs, variations and risk management
* Managing valuations, interim applications and final accounts as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Producing accurate cost reports and advising clients on commercial strategy
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes

The Senior Quantity Surveyor?
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction sector
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial procedures
* Chartered or working towards MRICS (or equivalent professional accreditation)
* Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
* Confident in a client-facing Senior Quantity Surveyor role
