Fire Doors Contracts Manager – Nationwide
Our client is a growing specialist contractor within the passive fire protection sector, delivering works across a range of commercial, residential and FM-led environments.
Due to expansion of their fire door division, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee delivery across multiple projects nationwide.
This is a key role within the business, with real opportunity to contribute to the growth and structure of the division.
Role Overview
You will manage fire door projects from survey and scoping through to installation and completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and to programme.
Projects range from smaller remedial schemes through to larger multi-site and commercial installations.
Key Responsibilities
• Surveying and scoping fire door works
• Supporting pricing and quotations alongside the commercial team
• Managing installation teams and subcontractors
• Coordinating orders for doorsets and ironmongery
• Programming and coordinating site activities
• Carrying out QA inspections and compliance checks
• Ensuring works meet BM TRADA, IFC and manufacturer standards
• Managing client communication and reporting
• Maintaining accurate project and compliance documentation
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of fire door installation and remedial works
• Background as a fire door installer / joiner
• Experience managing projects or site teams
• Ability to survey and scope works independently
• Confident client-facing with clear communication skills
• IT literate with experience in reporting and documentation
• Full UK driving licence
Desirable
• BM TRADA / FIRAS / IFC accreditation
• Fire door inspection qualifications (FDIS or similar)
• Carpentry / joinery background
• Experience across commercial or multi-site projects
