Contracts Manager/Director
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager/Director to oversee and lead our clients DRYLINING Division.
Work location: Primarily London, with approximately 10% of projects in the Home Counties.
Responsible for: Leading the operations function of our drylining division
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
CANDIDATES APPLYING MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH DRYLINING.
Duties
* Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts related to construction projects and other organisational initiatives.
* Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts from inception through to completion, ensuring all terms are met and risks are mitigated.
* Manage a team of contract specialists and coordinate with project managers, legal advisors, and external stakeholders.
* Develop and implement contract strategies aligned with organisational goals and compliance standards.
* Monitor contractual performance, resolve disputes, and manage amendments or modifications as necessary.
* Utilise project management tools such as Microsoft Project to plan, track, and report on contractual milestones.
* Ensure all contractual documentation is accurate, organised, and stored securely using Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and specialised contract management software.
* Conduct regular reviews of ongoing projects to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and organisational policies.
* Drive continuous improvement in contract processes through effective management practices and utilisation of IT systems.
Salary is £80,000 – £95,000 per annum
