Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across demolition, earthworks, and civil engineering.

This is a stand-alone role, offering autonomy and the opportunity to take full commercial ownership of multiple projects. The position is primarily remote, with regular travel to sites across London and the Home Counties.

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Flexible (London & Home Counties)

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (dependent on level of experience, projects worked on, etc)

About the role:

Full commercial management of multiple projects
Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts
Subcontract procurement and account management
Cost value reconciliation (CVR) and financial reporting
Managing change control and commercial risk
Liaising with clients, site teams, and stakeholders
Supporting tendering and estimating where required
About you:

We are looking for a commercially astute and self-sufficient Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable working independently across multiple sites.

Proven experience in demolition, earthworks, or civil engineering
Strong knowledge of contracts (e.g. NEC) and commercial processes
Experience managing projects from pre-contract to final account
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and solutions-driven approach
