A well-established heritage and specialist stonework contractor is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on prestigious heritage, restoration, and conservation projects, including listed buildings, historic landmarks, and high-end stonework installations.

The Role

You will play a key role in managing the commercial and surveying aspects of specialist stone and heritage construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and managing project cost plans and budgets
Measurement and valuation of stonework and restoration packages
Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
Preparing interim valuations and final accounts
Supporting project teams with commercial advice
Liaising with clients, architects, and conservation specialists
Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and programme

About You

Experience as a Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor within construction
Experience with stonework, restoration, heritage, or masonry projects is highly desirable
Strong understanding of cost management and commercial processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Relevant construction qualification (or equivalent experience)
