Location: Soho, London
Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 + package

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor, based out of a commercial office in Soho. This is a key role overseeing the commercial delivery of two initial projects, both involving complex cut and carve construction works.

Project 1: £30m
Project 2: £40mThese schemes require strong commercial leadership, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of refurbishment and structural alteration projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the commercial management of two concurrent projects
Oversee cost planning, procurement strategy, and subcontractor management
Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting
Work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Clients
Ensure commercial compliance with contract conditions and company procedures
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities

About You

Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within a main contractor environment
Strong background in cut and carve / refurbishment projects
Experience managing projects in the £20m-£50m range
Excellent knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. JCT)
Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
