Project Manager
The Company:
We are working with a well-established, civils and infrastructure contractor who are looking to appoint a Project Manager to work on water and wastewater infrastructure schemes in the North West. They typically deliver schemes valued to £10m in the Water, Waste Water, Drainage and Civils sectors.
The Role:
Due to a healthy pipeline of work set the rest of 2026 and beyond, they have asked us to source a Project Manager to join their team in the North West.
You’ll be responsible for managing civil engineering projects from planning through to completion, with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure schemes.
This is an office-based role, with visits to sites/meetings when required.
You:
They are looking for a hands-on Project Manager from a self-delivery civils contractor, with strong experience in wastewater infrastructure (rising mains, drainage, pumping stations), who is comfortable managing site teams directly and delivering projects end-to-end rather than overseeing subcontractors.
Experience:
Backgrounds considered: Site Engineer, Site Manager, General Foreman
Experience delivering projects within the water or wastewater sector
Strong understanding of drainage, pipelines, and sewer infrastructure
Experience working for a self-delivery contractor
Ability to manage projects rather than just subcontract packages
Good knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site operations
Strong communication and organisational skills
Must have the right to work in the UK
