The Role
Reporting into senior commercial and operational leadership, you will act as the commercial authority for a major element of the project.
Your remit will include:
* Leading commercial and contractual strategy
* Full ownership of cost control, forecasting and reporting
* Preparation and agreement of client valuations
* Driving change management, variations and entitlement
* Managing commercial risk and contractual compliance
* Leading final account processes and negotiations
* Overseeing supply chain commercial performance
* Advising directors and project leadership on key commercial decisions
This is a role for someone who wants to shape outcomes, protect value, and influence direction, not simply follow process.

* A recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Strong experience on large construction or infrastructure projects
* Practical knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
* Confidence operating in high‑value, high‑risk environments

* A step up in responsibility without stepping away from delivery
* Long‑term project security with a respected employer
* Flexibility that supports work‑life balance at senior level
This role offers a rare blend of challenge, stability, and progression
