💷 Rate: £450 per shift (PAYE)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major heavy civils project. This is a key role, responsible for managing commercial aspects of the project and ensuring effective cost control and contract management.

Requirements:

* Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

* Strong background on large-scale heavy civils projects (essential)

* Excellent understanding of contracts, commercial reporting, and cost control

* Ability to manage subcontractors and client relationships

* Strong communication and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing all commercial aspects of the project

* Cost reporting, forecasting, and budgeting

* Subcontractor procurement, management, and valuations

* Handling variations, claims, and final accounts

* Liaising with project teams, clients, and stakeholders

* Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirement
