Electrical Supervisor

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on a large scale commercial project. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate day to day electrical activities on site

* Manage electricians and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and efficiency

* Ensure all work complies with current regulations, standards, and project specifications

* Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks

* Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, enforcing safe working practices at all times

* Liaise with project managers, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow

* Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

* Identify and resolve technical issues promptly

* Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation

Electrical Supervisor Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial construction projects

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and regulations

* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

* SSSTS or SMSTS certification (preferred)

* ECS/CSCS card (required)

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Strong organisational and problem solving abilities
