Quantity Surveyor (M&E) – North West | £65k + Package

The Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established contractor delivering Mechanical & Electrical and construction projects across the North West, with a strong pipeline of secured work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking for long-term, locally based projects, a stable workload, and the chance to play a key role in the commercial delivery of projects from start to finish.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of projects from a commercial perspective, ensuring cost control, profitability, and successful delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing commercial aspects of projects from inception through to completion

* Preparing and managing CVRs, forecasts, and financial reports

* Handling valuations and applications for payment

* Managing subcontractor procurement, accounts, and final accounts

* Pricing and managing variations

* Driving cost control and value engineering across projects

About You

* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E and/or construction

* Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills

* Good understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts

* Confident communicator with strong negotiation ability

* Full UK driving licence

Package

* £55,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)

* Car allowance / company vehicle
