Production Manager – Windows & Doors (Fenestration)

About the Role
Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established window and door manufacturer who are looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to oversee and drive performance across their manufacturing operation.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced fenestration environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day production operations within a window and door manufacturing facility
* Manage and develop production teams to ensure targets are met across output, quality, and efficiency
* Implement and maintain lean manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure all products are manufactured in line with industry standards and specifications
* Monitor and manage KPIs, including productivity, waste reduction, and on-time delivery
* Work closely with other departments including sales, transport, and installation teams
* Maintain a strong focus on health & safety compliance across the site
* Identify and resolve production issues quickly to minimise downtime
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Production Manager (or similar) within the window and door / fenestration industry
* Strong knowledge of uPVC / aluminium systems, glazing, or fabrication processes
* Experience managing teams within a manufacturing or construction-related environment
* A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop staff
* Strong understanding of production planning, workflows, and process improvement
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
