SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – EDINBURGH
SALARY £60,000 – £80,000
Our client is a Tier 1 Major Contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects across Edinburgh and the East of Scotland, including commercial, mixed‑use, residential, and student accommodation schemes valued from £10M-£100M+.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to support the post‑contract delivery of multiple live projects within a well‑established commercial team.

Key Responsibilities with this Senior Quantity Surveyor role
* Post‑contract commercial management of major projects (£10M–£40M).
* Subcontract procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Cost reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
* Management of large work packages within Design & Build schemes.
* Liaison with project teams, clients, consultants, and supply chain.
Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in a main contracting commercial role or Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
* Degree‑qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Experience with Design & Build, JCT, and NEC contracts advantageous.
* Strong commercial awareness and risk management capability.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
