Job Title: BIM Engineer

Overview
We are working with a leading UK main contractor who is seeking a skilled BIM Engineer to join their team on a major project based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-profile build, supporting digital delivery and driving BIM excellence across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, manage, and coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP)

* Carry out clash detection and model coordination using tools such as Navisworks

* Ensure all BIM deliverables align with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and client requirements

* Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve coordination issues

* Support the implementation of BIM standards and digital construction processes on site

* Manage and maintain Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows

* Assist in 4D planning and digital construction sequencing where required

Requirements

* Proven experience working as a BIM Engineer / BIM Technician within the construction industry

* Must have site-based experience working on live construction projects

* Strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks

* Good understanding of BIM processes, standards, and project delivery

* Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines (MEP, structural, architectural)

* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with site and design teams

Desirable

* Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor

* Familiarity with 4D/5D BIM processes

* Knowledge of UK BIM standards (ISO 19650)

* Experience using CDE platforms (e.g., Viewpoint, Asite, or similar)
