Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure project based in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a long-term scheme with a reputable contractor, offering competitive daily rates and consistent work over a 12-month period.

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting out for highways works including drainage, earthworks, and road construction

* Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with design specifications and drawings

* Managing and maintaining site documentation, including QA records and as-built surveys

* Coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and management

* Conducting quality control checks and ensuring health & safety compliance

* Supporting project delivery to programme deadlines

Requirements:

* Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on highways or major infrastructure projects

* Strong knowledge of setting out using GPS/Total Station equipment

* Familiarity with highways specifications and standards

* CSCS card (essential)

* SMSTS/SSSTS (desirable)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
