Estimating Manager
We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking engineering services provider to assist them in hiring an Estimating Manager for their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimating professional to take on a key leadership role, overseeing project pricing and contributing to the continued success of a dynamic organisation. You will play a vital part in ensuring accurate, competitive tenders while supporting strategic business growth.
As the Estimating Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Leading and managing the estimating function across multiple projects
* Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and client requirements
* Liaising with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing
* Identifying risks and opportunities within tenders
* Supporting business development and contributing to bid strategy
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Proven experience in an estimating role within engineering, construction, or a related sector
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
