Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial and cost‑related aspects of construction projects from postreconstructive through to final account.
Prepare bills of quantities, tender documentation, cost plans, and procurement schedules.
Conduct detailed cost analysis, risk assessments, and value engineering exercises.
Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.
Monitor project expenditure, valuations, variations, and cashflow forecasting.
Work closely with project managers, site teams, and design consultants to ensure commercial control and contractual compliance.
Provide accurate monthly reporting, cost-to-complete assessments, and financial updates to senior management.
Ensure all work aligns with the company's high standards of quality, safety, sustainability, and client satisfaction.
Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction/commercial discipline (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a QS role within main contracting or developer-led construction.
Strong understanding of JCT contracts, procurement routes, and commercial management.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision and attention to detail.
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office applications.What do you get?
